All of our dogs are competing at the Sims Kennel Club and often won shows.
We attach a great importance about the herd instinct of our dogs. From a young age, they learn the basis of herding.
We are professionals, our Border Collies are perfectly trained.
Even thaught we're breeding both types, we specializes ourself with the show type. On of our Sire, Starpopit's Herd Like a Star, as been titled Best of Breed at the 2nd Simnational Conformation show and Best of Group at the SKC Herding Group Conformation Show.

Lucky Hills is located on the beautiful country of the Netherlands , near by the coast and it's fresh sea breeze during the seasons. Our Kennel offers a huge area splitted into several buildings such as breeding, whelping, photography, washing, training and living. The buildings are always kept clean and we take care of hygiene and health. Our breed is definitely no mass-production and we don't keep too many dogs at once when there's not enaugh staff. We own dogs of both, working and show type. Each dog is treated equally, certain food is chosen for each one of them and we spend hours and hours on focusing on the dogs personality and potential. Our Border Collies are trained in show, agility, herding and hunting, but specialized in agility.

At Eagardale Kennels we pride our self in breeding 100% purebred Border Collies. We are carefully when choosing which of our dogs we wish to breed and strive to produce the best canines in conformation, personality, behavior, showing and working as well as colour. We make it our goal to produce dogs which are fit for both showing and working.
We believe in bringing out our dogs pack and family instincts which is why we house them in large female and male compounds with no restrictions (apart from male and female mixing). They can eat, sleep, play or relax whenever they wish. They can be inside or outside whenever they want and they have maximum social interaction with both other dogs and humans.
We have not entered any competitions yet as we have only just had our dogs registered and we are still working on making our kennel perfect.

We want to breed Border Collies with an outstanding Temperament, they have to have excellent nerves, have to be cool and friendly.
All our girls are hip scored, eye tested in the age of six weeks and every year. Our girls are very expressive bitches and they are easy to handle.Our Border Collies should follow the modern standard without being too extreme in their appearance.They have to move well and be balanced in their whole phenotype.
There is much work to do to find the right studdog for our girls. We are spending many hours on the phone or in the internet and searching for many days. Then, once found an interesting dog after studying his pedigree and his health, we go to his owner, wherever he lives, and reassure that he really is the right studdog. He has to have a blameless nature and excellent movements.

With my kennel I try to breed dogs which come close to real Border Collies. All of my dogs are well chosen and so are the parents of my litters. With my BCs I also try to fulfill the breeding standards in order to breed dogs which have the makings of being a champion dog once.
